Aether Pixel delivers indie game marketing work. Steam page copy, marketing strategy documents, social content, press kits, outreach lists, and execution support, among other things.
What gets delivered on your project is confirmed in writing before we start, through your invoice or a brief email summary. Your package (Starter, Core, or Full) and any add-ons define the scope.
You'll receive an estimated timeline at the start of your project. Aether Pixel sends progress updates by email and reaches out when something is ready for your review.
Timelines work best when both sides move. If there are delays on the materials or feedback you provide, the delivery date shifts accordingly. Aether Pixel can't be held responsible for missed Steam Next Fest windows, launch dates, or other time-sensitive events caused by delays on your end.
How it works: Full payment up front, before work begins. No exceptions.
What you can pay with: Wise (USD) or Stripe. Your invoice will include the account details.
Everything is billed in USD. Any transfer fees or currency conversion costs are on your side. Once payment clears, you'll receive a confirmation email. that's your receipt.
Refund policy: Because this is custom digital work, payments are non-refundable once work has started. That said, if Aether Pixel is unable to deliver within 30 days of your payment (for reasons on our end, not yours), you get a full refund. No questions asked.
Your package includes a set number of revision rounds. One round means one batch of feedback sent by email. reviewed and applied together.
What counts as a revision: Changes to tone, wording, structure, or strategic direction.
What doesn't count: Typos and minor formatting fixes caught within 48 hours of delivery. Those get fixed automatically.
If you need more rounds beyond what's included, that's fine. we'll agree on it by email before anything happens, and additional costs are discussed per project.
Revision requests need to come in within 14 days of delivery. After that window, they fall outside the scope of the current project.
The better your brief, the better your deliverables. After payment, you'll fill out a short onboarding form. ideally within 3 business days. so work can start without delay.
All materials you provide (screenshots, descriptions, assets) should be yours to share. Aether Pixel isn't responsible for any copyright issues that arise from materials you supply.
Your deliverables are yours. Once payment is complete, everything created for your project belongs to you. Use it, modify it, publish it however you like.
Aether Pixel's portfolio rights: Unless you say otherwise in writing within 14 days of final delivery, Aether Pixel may reference your project in its portfolio or case studies. either anonymously or by title.
Aether Pixel's process stays with Aether Pixel: The frameworks, templates, and methods used are Aether Pixel's own. You get full rights to use the deliverables created for you. not the underlying systems behind them.
Anything you share about your game. details, plans, financials, strategy discussions. stays private. Aether Pixel won't share it with anyone outside the project.
The same applies in reverse: anything Aether Pixel shares with you about its process stays between us.
The only exceptions are information that's already public, developed independently, or required to be disclosed by law.
Aether Pixel builds everything on industry research, verified real-world cases, and professional judgment. The work is designed to give your game the best possible shot.
That said, specific outcomes. wishlist numbers, sales figures, review counts, Steam algorithm responses. can't be guaranteed. Marketing results are shaped by your game's quality, timing, platform policies, and how the deliverables are executed, all of which sit outside Aether Pixel's control.
Past results referenced in case studies reflect real projects. They don't guarantee the same for yours.
If you need to cancel before work starts: You'll receive a full refund minus any transaction fees.
If you cancel after work has started: Completed deliverables are yours to keep, but that portion isn't refundable.
If Aether Pixel needs to stop: In cases of abusive communication, false materials, or requests that cross legal or ethical lines, Aether Pixel reserves the right to end the project. Any incomplete deliverables are refunded proportionally.
If a project goes quiet: If there's no response from your side for 14 consecutive days after work has begun, the project is considered abandoned. Completed work gets delivered, and no refund is issued.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the service provider's jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, both sides agree to work it out through honest conversation first. If that doesn't resolve it, mediation comes before any formal legal action.
This page, together with your invoice, is the complete agreement between you and Aether Pixel. It replaces any prior emails or informal conversations.
Any changes to these terms need to be agreed in writing by both sides.
